For Cheryl P. Kohloff, creating art is an exploration of beauty, memory, color, and the natural world. As a designer and decorative artist, she approaches each piece with the belief that art should evoke emotion, spark curiosity, and bring a sense of joy to the spaces we inhabit.
Her artistic practice is deeply influenced by her love of nature, collected objects, and the timeless elegance of decorative arts. Through her signature Coquillage work, sculptural seashell pieces, and richly layered mixed-media artwork, Cheryl transforms familiar materials into unexpected and expressive works of art.
Her work reflects a distinctive sensibility—where coastal influences meet European elegance, vibrant color meets refined composition, and tradition is reimagined with a playful contemporary spirit.
Her aesthetic is rooted in balance—where texture, proportion, and color come together effortlessly. As an Artist I am always expanding my interests, creative skills, gathering inspiration!
